The  Project Process:

The project process is a 5 phase approach. This process, developed by trial and error, has proven itself time and time again to be the best approach to completing a project successfully. Communication between the client and Dixie Construction Services is the most important aspect of any project. 24 hour a day, 7 day a week access to your Project Manager and clear communication regarding all issues and concerns, by the client and by the Project Manager, are essential traits of a Dixie Construction project. 

Estimating Phase
When you call Dixie Construction about a project, you will receive the upmost in customer service. ALL ESTIMATES ARE 100% FREE of charge. We will come to your project location and review your wants, needs and ideas with you. Once the site visit and measurements are taken, we will analyze your project to find the best means and methods to complete the work requested. Finally, your project will be priced and sent to you for your review. The estimate will be clear, laying out all of the work being performed and the pricing for it. When we can, pictures and samples will also be used in the estimate, so that you can have the most information to make your decision with. We are not a pressure company, its up to you if you want to do the work. If you want to make changes to the scope of work, you are free to do so at anytime. Your input is both valuable and much appreciated. 

Preplanning
Once you have selected the work that you want completed, we will schedule a start date that works best for you. Permits that are needed or required will be applied for and secured. Planning with vendors and subcontractors, if applicable, will be performed to ensure all your materials and labor are on site when they are needed.

The Project
When the start date comes, we will be there ready to work. We don't put projects off to when they fit our schedule, we put the clients needs first, always. Workers will be at your project on a daily basis performing the work in a professional manner. Loud radios and guys with no shirts have no place on a Dixie project. We wear clean company shirts and act respectful of your property. The work area will be cleaned daily. Supplies, materials and trash won't be strung across your whole residence, rather they will be stacked and stored nice and neat either within the work area, a mutually agreed upon area, or a trailer. Crews will work safely, to ensure the least amount of liability to both Dixie and to the Client. 

Also during the course of the project, you will have 24 hour a day, 7 day a week access to both the onsite foreman and your Project Manager. If something is wrong or you are not happy with something, we will do everything within our power to respond to your concern. Your on site foreman will be present every day. Regular site visits and regular communication will happen between you and the Project Manager during the course of your project. Communication will be key, if something is happening regarding your project, you will know it as quickly as possible. 

Project Completion
Once the project is completed, you will have an opportunity to walk the project with the Project Manager. This walkthrough gives you the opportunity to accept or reject work that was performed. Any problems with the work will also be corrected at this time. All written warranty and care instructions for the work performed will also be given at this time. 

Post Project / Warranty Period
Don't be surprised if a few weeks after your project is completed if we call you up to check in with you. Again, we are building relationships, so its important to Dixie that your not just forgotten once we pull out of your driveway or parking lot.

All of our work will come with a warranty. Due to the type of project being performed and the different type of materials, warranty periods differ from 1 year to 20 years. If, during your warranty period, you experience any issues with the work performed or the materials used, you simply call us and we will service your issue as quickly as possible.
